End of the month

Well it is the end of a month and it has been a rocky one, mainly due to weather. It was ended on a great note though, the plastic for the entire massively huge greenhouse is up. Many thanks go out to K and Tony as well as Irene, and of course we cannot forget Greg, as well as thank you to Chuck, Christal, Shelley, Malydia, Wendy, Paul and Susan for assisting with the framing. This is truly an Amish barn raising even though none of us are Amish, I guess they have taught us something. It is easier to do projects with friends and neighbors.

" Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life."

Here are a few pictures of yesterdays events.

Before the plastic

Finishing touches to the plastic on one end.

Tomorrow you will see the finished greenhouse. It was done on the last day of the month, which means the first day of the new month will be wonderful. K and I will go buy materials to make the tables and then we can start moving in the plants.

A quote from Tony, " they beat the wind" !  It was pretty windy today but they got it done.

"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them. "

So a new day for a new month starts tomorrow, so tune in for another report tomorrow with new pictures.

The wonderful beach chairs in a brief snow storm, is it not beautiful. Not sure if you can see it but in the middle of the chairs is a great table made by Shelley and Malydia. It is being painted by K.
